Job Description

The South African Reserve Bank is looking for an organised and detail-focused Administrator to support its Personnel Security Vetting section. The role involves being the first point of contact for vetting processes, assisting applicants, managing confidential documents, capturing information, and supporting pre-employment screening activities.

Minimum Requirements

• National Certificate NQF 5 in Business Administration, Office Management or equivalent
• 2 to 4 years’ administrative experience
• Basic knowledge of personnel security vetting

Responsibilities 

• Act as the first point of contact for SARB personnel security vetting processes
• Schedule vetting appointments and communicate with applicants
• Receive and process vetting clearance questionnaires
• Capture applicants’ fingerprints for criminal record checks
• Liaise with the South African Police Criminal Record Centre
• Capture and maintain information on vetting databases
• Conduct credit bureau and education verification checks
• Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, archiving and retrieving documents
• Update stakeholders on applicant vetting progress
• Stay informed about best practices in security management
