Mr Price Apparel is looking for a Front End Developer to help create attractive, functional and user-friendly digital experiences across mrprice.com, the mobile app and other digital platforms.
The role focuses on HTML, CSS, jQuery, responsive design, website performance, SEO-friendly content and support for eCommerce content management systems.
• Matric certificate
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role
• HTML5
• CSS3
• Bootstrap 3 and 4
• Email HTML coding experience
• SEO best-practice knowledge
• CMS experience
• Write and maintain HTML and CSS for Mr Price digital platforms
• Work with designers and developers to create responsive digital content
• Build and support user-interface features
• Optimise pages for speed, scalability and SEO
• Assist with testing, troubleshooting and user experience improvements
• Maintain brand consistency across digital content
• Work on the company’s eCommerce CMS and email marketing platform
• Create basic mock-ups and prototypes for new layouts and campaigns
